Is it a good idea to take Boxing to compliment my Muay Thai or punches?
I’ve been taking Muay Thai for many months, and my techniquies rely mostly on elbowing, kneeing, and kicks. I rarely practice punches, because emphasis is placed on all other techniques and less on fists.
Is it a good idea to add boxing to my Muay Thai techniques? I noticed that stances are different.
Boxing and muay thai is an excellent combination. The problem with muay thai is that there’s not enough foot work, muay thai fighters basically stand in front of you. Now if you add some boxing foot work with some clean,crisp punches you’ll notice the difference.
